September 8-11th, Angelo will be competing at NASA Nationals at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. He will be running in two seperate classes, Spec Miata and Honda Challenge 2. Going for two National titles on the same weekend in two completely different types of cars should prove challenging, but Angelo is excited at the opportunity to adapt back and forth between platforms. June 2011:
Angelo had a great weekend at Hyperfest at Summit Point Raceway, WV, with the NASA Mid-Atlantic Region. This is one of the east coast's largest club racing events bringing thousands of spectators to watch the action! He closed out the weekend winning both races from pole position and resetting the track record twice throughout the weekend NASA's hyper-competitive Performance Touring E class. The 2011 season is off to a great start! An exciting weekend in Homestead, FL with the Playboy MX-5 Cup saw Angelo take pole position in qualifying for his first professional race weekend and finish 3rd in a three-wide photo finish.
